Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Rod Machado's new Sport Pilot book i...

This is in response to the guy who's been flying for 50 years and said he "don't need stupid pilots". In many chapters of Rod's over 600 page PP Handbook he could have gotten his message across more effectively if he actually said LESS than what he did, and without any loss of content as well. Many times while plowing through it I thought to myself - we got it enough already !! I do like his writing style and found his humor enjoyable, he just was frequently too wordy and could have used simple summaries to shorten some subjects up. Perhaps for what they charge for his book ( $ 60 IIRC ) he was merely trying to give the reader his money's worth.
