SP = Sport Pilot - FAA created in 2004

PP = Private Pilot

FAA = Federal Aviation Administration

UL = UltraLight

LSA = Light Sport Aviation -FAA created in 2004

ELSA = experimental Light Sport Aviation
gELSA = Grandfathered Experimental Light Sport Aviation - over weight ULs that
transitioned into the ELSA category.

E/AB = experimental Amateur Built
KING - King schools, very well known for developing very good aviation video
lessons.

AOPA = Airplane Owners and Pilots Association

SP test = a written test you have to take and pass with better than 70 percent
as part of becoming a sport pilot

BTW: = By The Way

IIRC = If I remember correctly
