RE: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Training hours required

Depends on where you are coming from. Many stories have been told to many
sides, still in gossip mode to me. Anyway they were told during the process
they were killing UL as it was known at the time. Yes it was getting
illegal-er, if that's a word, and they said that's to bad, we are going to
stop it. No two seat trainers without sport pilot tickets. So it is now
either gone or back into the 70's or 80's breakneck times again. But they
can now say go for that and do what you want even if you kill yourself, we
don't care or want to know about it. This economic period is hard on all and
is killing the fly=as=we=knew-it times all over. Joystick, play station,
time with aircraft looks like to me. Look not to the UL's or military for
new pilots, where most came from in the past. If CPC's are waiting for
walk=ins they done it to themselves. I don't think the SkyCatcher is going
to keep them going, unless they get to modify the entire SP rule to there
likening.

I surely hope this is not the case as things evolve...
