The event will kick off with a pancake breakfast starting at 8am. Have you ever wanted to learn to fly? Well if so this event is for you. Topics covered will be Pilot Certificate options; minimum requirements; aircraft options; choosing an instructor; preflight procedures and much more. This freeseminar will give you an understanding of what is required to get into the air as a pilot of your very own plane. The new "Light Sport Aircraft" category will be well represented with new planes on site for you to check out. And if you decide to become a "Sport Pilot" you can start flying with far less expense than required of a Private Pilot. So if you thought you could never afford to fly come out to the Arcadia Aviation Day and talk to experts about the new "Sport Pilot Light Sport Aircraft" rule. It could change your life. Tampa Bay Aero Sports will have a new Apollo "Fox" aircraft and new Apollo "Delta Jet" Trike. Evolution Trikes will have the new "Revo" Trike Float Planes & Amphibs will have the new "Capetown" & "Valor" aircraft and an "Airborne" Trike. Suncoast Skydiving will be making a drop or two during the day. Bring the entire family and enjoy a day on the field with the pilots and their planes. Have breakfast and lunch while learning about all the new options and ways to have fun in the air. The kids will enjoy seeing Santa arrive in an open bi-plane. He will then head to downtown Arcadia for the afternoon festivities and Christmas Parade on Main Street later in the day. The event will offer free attendance and free parking.
