Actually, the Zodiacs that we have seen breaking up have been in some severe weather conditions and/or being operated by low-time pilots.

 

But, like you said ANY aircraft will come apart when it's parameters are exceeded.

The Zodiacs are apparently coming apart in normal flight.

This was obvious in the reports, what was not obvious was your intent.
