I have checked my tappets for air pockets (after breaking the oil supply line for replacement of the pressure sensor).  I did not find any air.

 

I did learn how to prepare new tappets for installation to avoid installing them with air.  (Took Rotax maintenance course.)

I'm interested in finding out how many here have done the inspection for trapped air in the valve tappets, as described in SI-912-018/SI- 914-020, and shown in the Rotax-owner. com video (Or had it done at a Rotax repair facility), and if you did find trapped air, and what did you do about it?
