Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Apollo North American not at fault in Fatal inflight breakup!



Read the NTSB report carefully Mike.
The aircraft tubing broke in -high negative G's-. They took the tubing and cables to labs.

Here is a question for you Mike:

Who is the manufacturer. Is this grandfathered E-LSA UL trainer manufactured by Airborne Australia in reality or Robert Sullivan. Apply some common sense. There are hundreds of examples like this in FAA registration database and it simply had to do with EAA E-LSA grandfathering kit showing in their sample filled out paperwork to put the name of the owner as name of the manufacturer. Most people were filling out that paperwork when grandfathering for the first time following what EAA was showing. Many hundreds put down their name as manufacturer when clearly the grandfathered aircraft were built by factories.
