Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group oshkosh ?titan?

I have been trying to learn moor about this lucky  B/%4&rd  at oshkosh but this is all I,v goten back from the 11 user groups i have asked on
I heard about the Titan--They tried to land on the emergency landing area off the departure end of 31 from the opposite direction.  A caper who was walking their dog in the area had to run.  The plane did not touch down, gave full power and one wing hit the top 3 feet of the trees.  It did not crash but it did leave the area and never returned.

There is a very clear NOTAM that the pilot must not have read.  Two people died when a J3 Cub crashed into the lake, an F-16 laded long and had some damage and 2 Quicksilvers and a solo trike were wrecked when a 55 mph wind blew through.   A gyro had engine problems and had an emergency landing--no injuries but the gyro was heavily damaged.
