RE: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Skycatcher news

Hello
The Skycatcher isnt the be all of LSAs. It fits a part of the market Its availability will help the rest of the market by making SP "Legitimate" By the time they are loaded with an autopilot leather trim airconditioning and a kitchen sink LOL they will only be a useful single seater for many SP fliers. Think they will bring out a bench seat version with a centre stick  for the non standard buyers?

Gary,

I hope you meant lawn ornaments , not lawn darts.

Now the new 162 is out with their complete support inferring that only the wings were made in China. Looks like Cessna has done everything just right and might just collapse the foreign market here with the 162 offering. Hard to beat partial glass cockpit and style, Continental engine and not made out of plastic or aluminum tubes and fabric like Ultralights. At a price lower than the competition at  $111,000.
