IIRC, you ask how high a sport pilot has to be over a congested area.
The answer depends on the aircraft, not the pilot.
That brought in the various aircraft registrations.
You ask about maintenance, which depends on the aircraft registration, not the sport pilot.

So, IMO, the replies you received are right in line with your questions.
