Makes you wonder what the preflight and annual inspections are for, don't
it.

Hoses, and maintenance on the engine was already spelled out and people went
to school to learn to look at these things, notice and replace them. However
required parts for special five year deal are around $1200 and labor by only
a Rotax guy will take 12-14 hrs or so at shop rate to do it. This will be
done every five years since your engine was born. A lot of people are at the
five year mark or getting closer now. Welcome to the easier less costly way
to fly.
