Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Sports Pilot training , Canadian in Kansas City area

Hello,
I'm new to the forum . Hope nobody minds my asking about sports pilot training in the Kansas City area.
I'm a Canadian resident in the city and did some flying up in Canada before moving down here for work related reasons.

I'm trying to complete my training and looking for a school. ATD is the only school i found that has a sports plane but was told they are not set up to train non American citizens. Other instructors/schools licensed by TSA to do this don't have a sports plane.

Pls does anyone know of any school that does sports training and is able to take on non American citizens?
