Younis, thanks for pointing that out.
Rick, she is indeed quite a young lady.
I had the privilege of giving her the required instruction and the necessary
endorsements so she could solo her own airplane a week ago yesterday. She
turned 16 earlier this year. Until now, she hasn't been able to fly in the
airplane she built because it hasn't finished phase 1 flight testing, and an
instructor is not a necessary crew member.
The last plan I heard was that she would make her first US solo in that
airplane on September 2, the same day she plans to get her unrestricted
motorcycle license. She's promised me pictures.
