Hi Bill,
Well any LSA that is using a type certified engine (like 912S but not 912ULS or Lycoming etc.) can be equipped per the rules to be able to fly IFR (not just IFR equipped as you called it).
However, ASTM airplane comittee has come out or is about to come out with an IFR standard for LSA. Only after that a manufacturer can proclaim that their airplane (LSA) is IFR compliant to the ASTM standards. That would technically cut out any IFR LSA airplanes out there right this moment but that's just a technicality.
