Seems to me Aviation, as we know it, is going the way of the train and horse and buggy days. Seems also that interest is changing also into something you carry in your hand called an Iphone and other such wizardry. Everyone has one and they talk and play games all day long on them. Seems no one can be without one. I even have a Blackberry because the phone guy said I needed one. I have no idea what all it does, but people now days do.
I guess what I am saying here is I think our general aviation has passed us by and we are getting old now. Something else to get used to as well.... It will take a little while longer to understand I guess. Steam gauges and engines are long gone, or should be. Living by o-200 a standards has left us in the dust. Whoa is me... :-)

Just because time goes by and techniques and materials change doesn't mean the original old timer ultralights have to fade out. Especially when it comes to part 103. Most of these aircraft were proven during there time and are still worthy of recognition today. And might I add, cost effective. What ever happened to back to basics? An I don't mean back in 1903.
