Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Rotax engine mechanic training?

Ok. In all seriousness really ... here are good reasons to use Continental
1) Its made in the USA
2) Its made in the USA
3) Its made in the USA

That's the reason. Have some pride and say why you buy American. Not some half hearted mumbo jumbo.
I -WISH- I could put an American made engine in my trikes and the Fox. Alas any reliable American made engine is too heavy, too much of a gas guzzler and did I mention too heavy. We have shifted all sub-assembly production from Europe to Michigan now but I can't get away from the engine yet. Its too good, its light and its reliable and fuel efficient. If an American company actually achieved those goals, I'd be the first to jump on it.

I don't know which day would it be when we would realize as a nation of consumers that if you don't make things in the US you are not going to remain a power for too long. The slope we are on needs to be climbed back or its eventual end is in the dumps. Am I the only immigrant citizen who feels that way. I cannot be alone.
Anyway, sorry for the rant.
