That must be a recent innovation, then...because when I was selecting an
aircraft last year, the SportStar was most definitely not allowed to fly
real IFR. It could be had equipped for IFR, but only for training. Since IFR
capability was a must-have, that struck it off my list of possibles.
I'm glad to hear that more manufacturers are allowing IFR flight in their
LSAs. I think that's necessary to convince a lot of naysayers that an LSA
can be just as capable as a Part 23 airplane.
