I have no reason to doubt you but that really doesn't make any business sense. Lycoming supplies the engines for all the other high wing planes Cessna builds. If I were the president of fellow Textron company Lycoming and Cessna does indeed have that many orders ( over 1000 LSA's )already I would be mighty unhappy my sister company is giving my competitor all that business.

From what I've read about the improvements the new IO-233 has its a more refined engine, though not as time tested as the O-200, and it weighs nearly the same as the O-200. And I'm sure Lycoming has put alot of money into developing and certifying it as well.

It'll be fun to see how it all turns out.
