Apples and Oranges Bob. LSA relate most directly to sport pilot license and we all know the limitations of SP license. Its one thing to say ok, lets allow private pilots to fly LSA's so lets allow within the standard a night VFR series of requirements. That could be considered reasonable but we are passing that threshold by miles going to IFR.
