The discussion on
"night flight" equipped
and
"IFR" equipped
was not about these aircraft being used by Sport Pilots.
It was about the possibility of the Aircraft (LSA) being used by
appropriately rated and medicaled pilots for night flight or IFR.
Specifically, a S-LSA could be operated by a flight school,
and used for training of Sport Pilots, Private Pilots, and the
Private Pilot's subsequent progression to an Instrument Rating.
IE; very efficient use of the aircraft.
