Although I clicked the "Unsubscribe" I am still getting the emails. not sure how that's happening but since it is I figured I might as well let you know and just say I didn't mean to offend anyone.
I got an email a little while after I clicked the unsubscribe asking why I was leaving. I replied but I didn't know it was going to be posted for the whole group to see.
As I think you know I am a student pilot 32.5hrs total going for my PPL I need 7 more hours of solo and 3 hours of hood work and a mock check ride and I'll be ready for the FAA Examiner. I love to learn and the ticket is only a license to continue to learn. One day I hope to get my CFI and do that on the side. I don't want to be a airline pilot or anything like that but I think it would be fun to teach others as a private instructor just like I am being taught.
My point I was trying to make was just simply it seemed like you were beating a dead horse again. Going over and over and over the same facts about that Rotax repairman course if its needed if its not to do a oil change etc. And even after I think it was Helen who made a call about it the conversation continued as if you didn't believe her, I'm sure that wasn't the case. I'm just saying no one was willing to concede their point.
Anyway for me like I mentioned at first I thought I was going to go the LSA route because it was cheaper but the deal I am getting going through my private instructor and the rate I got on the plane I rent I couldn't pass it up. So if I took your conversation the wrong way I apologize but it seems this forum for the most part just doesn't have the content that interest's me. As owners of LSA's and Ultralights I could see the conversation being more of what I need but I'm not so maintenance is not a exciting topic for me and there seems to be more of that than anything, I loved the video the other day of the guy and his wife flying to that frozen lake for that fly in and other like that.
