Agreed.
We must sharpen our act to avoid losing another subscriber.
Probably best to avoid examining the ins and outs of technical issues, and
stick with the "flying happily over the clouds" stories.
As it happens, SLSAs are only a small percentage of LSAs, and so their extra
complications over maintenance needn't really bother us. (the majority of
LSA flying been done in ELSAs)

Good point Mike. As previously stated we are here to learn a new,
complicated and diverse subject about sport aircraft. As you correctly
referred, there are many different ways to participate that are not familiar
to most people on this list, like Powered Parachutes that can now be
endorsed for BCD airspaces and fly the pattern with us now. This causes more
confusion as most think an air craft only applies to fixed wing types, which
of course makes sport pilot so special and interesting because of the
addition of new ways to get involved. Therefore I strongly suggest adherence
to the subject line and make sure it is referenced with anything not fixed
wing. This would clear up a lot of confusion as to how the person is
replying for a better understanding of the comment.
Sport Pilot has opened up a big load of new possibilities for all and is
many things to many people. It is still evolving as we speak about it. We
do need new posts from people that have questions and are looking for a
simple answer, sometimes that evolves into quit a mess.
Just try to remember this is not a professional official site for anything
and anything stated is a personal opinion and to be taken that way. One
should not be so lazy as to not do their own research and then blame the
group for it. Let's all try to help each other the best we can. It is
certainly an interesting subject to those interested in it.
