I have personally found that the easiest way to follow Yahoo Group style format is via the web. It has the following clear advantages
1) No e-mails filling up your inbox
2) No Digest to filter through which can get long and unorganized
3) Top posting doesn't really matter via the web
4) Thread related posts are easier to find via the web
Yahoo Groups do not lend themselves like many others to posting files, pictures and showing videos. They are older implementation of the social idea. For videos, pictures etc. other formats are way way better (e.g. www.trikepilot.com) for trikes which by the way are also LSA (Light Sport Aircraft not Airplane) just of the weight-shift-control category (FYI).
However, there is an advantage to having this limitation IMHO. It keeps the topics less video and media related and more technical and text based. If that's boring to someone, this may not be the place for them. I personally belong to both types of groups just for that reason.
I would invite people to post what their interests are.
The gentleman who posted about the Dog Kennel. Take a look at a Just Aircraft model.
