Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Compensation as a SP flying an ELSA??

The FWS could hire a sport pilot to fly and ELSA over their refuge under
the public use rules. Don't hold your breath for that to happen though.

The FAA can grant what ever wavers it wishes to. Again, suffocation my
be imminent if you hold your breath.

A NPO can do what they want as far as the FAA is concerned. The
responsibility for following the rules of flight rests solely with the
PIC. Now any investors in the NPO of course have the to file legal
action again the BOD and executive director of the NPO if they feel
their funds are inappropriately or illegally being used. I immage the
IRS may also get involved.
