RE: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Avionics in Light Sport Aircraft survey

Thanks, Abid.  Yea, I don't really pay too much attention to sour grapes like that.  Of course I know there are way too many manufacturers out there and the only way to make a small fortune in aviation is to start with a big one, but that's not what we do, is it?  ..lol

Anyway….he never did answer if he took the survey or not, which is really the only thing I need at this point.

What pessimistic outlook. Give up before you even try ... that's your recommendation. Since when has that been the winning strategy?

Is aviation a tough business. You betcha. Its tougher than most.

There are customers out there. We sold an $80,000 trike at Sun N Fun. sold three used trikes (one at $38k, one at $51k, one at $16.5k) after that and have someone coming from out of country to fly one Revo next month to sell there. This is a one month (April) activity.

Lyle do not listen to this stuff. Go make the market. There are customers out there. Market doesn't exist. Its made. I don't care if you sell bricks. Be the best brick maker and provider there is and you will have customers in the worst of times.

As the price of gas and living go out the window,, there are more and more fighting for the fewer and fewer dollars one uses for pleasure..Since very few new companies are being born here in the U.S. the chances you might sell a plane or two gets closer to zero.. In my opinion your wasting your time here.. The per capita income is getting next to nothing.. But it is growing in China and other places..Check your fortune five hundred companies..
