Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Compensation as a SP flying an ELSA??

So this is the scenario that is currently happening and I want to be able to do this as well...if it is legal. If its not legal, then how are they able to do it?? I have asked the NPO if they have a waiver from the FAA and they have not responded.

NPO owns several ELSA aircraft for it's contract Sport Pilots to fly and pays all associated expenses.

NPO's CEO/SP gets paid 100 grand+ for wages including running the NPO and flying NPO owned ELSA.

NPO hires a few SP contractors and pays their wages and all the costs of operating NPO owned ELSA aircraft.

NPO has public website to show beautiful wildlife photos taken by SP's flying NPO owned ELSA and tugs at the hearts and purse strings of its audience and raises funds to pay wages and expenses.
