Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Fatal Stall/Spin Accidents, and other Aircraft Accidents

When I first started flying ultralights, the instructors noted that the worst students were 'heavy' pilots - they just didn't internalize the limited range of airspeeds and wind sensitivity that light airplanes have. Lots of reflexes to overcome. They much preferred to teach people who had either flown many different aircraft (including light planes like Cubs/Champs) or complete novices.
