Another wierd situation exists with the way radars are set up.  They are set to remove ground clutter by having slow moving objects removed from the radar scope.  A UL type aircraft flying into the wind can vanish off of the radar due to its slow ground speed.  It's kind of a UL stealth mode.  Roger

One limitation of this unit and others is that the aircraft with the transporter is only detected when it is "painted" by radar and replies.  Thus, it the aircraft is too low, behind a mountain, or too far from a radar station, it would to be detected by the unit.

Gary,

I have a unit called "Traffic Watch." It is slightly smaller, width and
height wise, than a cigarette pack and about two inches longer. It is
made in Australia and costs, if my memory serves me correctly, about
