I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have a friend who has evaluated 150+ airplanes and who flew a Skycatcher recently.
1. He observed very high friction in the ailerons and control forces substantially out of balance and harmony.
2. With heels on the floor, if you push a rudder pedal, you will get brake. This will result in a rash of flat-spotted tires during crosswind landing.
3. He feels that people why learn to fly in a Skycatcher will not learn to fly by control feel.
