Statistically though the completion rate of a 51% Exp-AB projects are 1 out of 10 and that simply a fact. So 9 other people for every one finished and flying did not bother finishing their project (i-e., money down the drain).
The engine on 80% of our trikes that I was referring to is the same engine you find in a Tecnam Sierra or Flight Design CT (Rotax 912ULS). It has 70-80% of the LSA market currently world-wide and they have no real competition. I wish I could buy an American engine that had the reliability and power-to-weight ratio of this engine but I can't and that includes Great Planes VW conversion and Geo and Subaru. I and the outfits I have been involved with have dealt with every single one of those conversions at one point or another.
