And KR-2 is an amateur-built airplane. The completion rate in those is like 1 out if 10. If you have a Subaru in a KR-2 versus a KR-2 with a o-200 which one is more likely to sell and which one is more likely to be reliable engine.

The largest kit seller in the world Vans with the most completion rate cannot claim more than 25 percent and they highly discourage non-aircraft engines and conversions and I don't think that's because they don't know what they are doing
