At this point, assuming I can keep the airplane, I expect that the
modifications will be made at the AMD factory at a cost in the neighborhood
of $5000. That includes approximately 80 hours' labor, not just for the
aileron balance weights, but also significant strengthening of the center
spar carrythroughs (which requires substantial disassembly of the seat area
of the fuselage).
