Its like flying in a plastic jet But its in a Boeing jet coming soon. The Dreamliner
For the flying most people do electric power is viable.and will be reliable.The average owner wont tinker with a black art like high voltage and electronics trying to coax another 50FPM climb

After all these years not being able to depend on a flashlight because of batteries, connections, etc., suddenly we are going to fly electricly?? ??

I think the writers ( or the manufacturers of the aircraft)of those articles mentioned in the succeeding posts are not up on the def of LSA aircraft. At this point the Chinese Yuneec (pronounced "Unique") E430 is a factory aircraft and not even EAB. One report however (AvWeb) indicates the FAA is behind the curve. I'd agree...
