Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: perfect for my situation

For what it's worth:

We often fly our Skyrangeer with a 912UL Rotax using 2.5 gallsons per
hour or less.

Depends on load, of course on cruise speed, how much climbing we do,
etc.

With just me (140 lb) in the cockpit and cruising at 60 knot indicated
airspeed at abot 4500 I easily stay aloft at 2.5 gallonss per hour.

Carry a 190 pound passanger, fill the22 gallon tank to the brim do a lot
of decsnding aand climbing back upp to 8500 feet and we burndd loser to
4 gph.
