Most Light Sport manufactures offer aircraft with or without glass cockpits. Select the options you want. As an example, the Aerostar R40s with analog gages is $99k. The dual glass Skyview panel (all options included) is $116K. Those are (delivered) prices, plus tax. www.sportplanes.com So you can have it your way. It should be noted on the web site listed with your post, that the plane offered for $85K is not delivered, be sure to get the out-the-door-price plus tax. You may be surprised, one may also be surprised when they don't the promis of "aircraft will burn less than 2.5 gallons per hour". Yeah, right!

In my opinion, this is the approach that LSA manufacturers should be taking.
This aircraft is configured with conventional instrumentation complemented by a GPS.
This is the way I want to fly I don't need the sophisticated (read: expensive) glass cockpits that really jack up the price of an airplane.
Less expensive and rugged designs like this can only help bring in more students and pilots.
