In my opinion, this is the approach that LSA manufacturers should be taking.
This aircraft is configured with conventional instrumentation complemented by a GPS.
This is the way I want to fly – I don't need the sophisticated (read: expensive) glass cockpits that really jack up the price of an airplane.
Less expensive and rugged designs like this can only help bring in more students and pilots.
