Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: I need help

Bikerider (I don't know your name)
Maybe it's becauxe on your original post you called everyone out as being an
"elitist" this certainly puts most people on edge and was an unfair comment.
Also at 300 pounds there are plenty of options out there to train. Now I think
you would agree you are in a distinct minority in that MOST people who weight
300 lbs plus even at 6 foot are not "all muscle". So leaving any qualifiers
out you were most likely looking for that reaction.
Also there are 400 lb'ers on here that do nothing but moan about the lack of
accomodations for them and quite frankly I get tired of hearing the complaints
from them.
I also don't believe the "average adult male in the us has increased from
165lbs to 196 lbs" statement. There are plenty under 165 and not that many
over 200 so to "average" 196 is a stretch. Yes our country is becoming more of
an obese society but that shouldn't dictate a change. It's not 6 ft 300 lb
adults who are "all muscle" that are causing the average adult to be heavier
(whatever the average truly is).
A lot of the LSA's have every bit as much useful load as a C-150/152.
